Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end, played for 17 seasons in the National Football League. Gonzalez is regarded as to be one of the top tight ends of all time. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third place in total receptions, Gonzalez was also the NFL tight end with the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst for FOX sports studio. Gonzalez was a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL SUNRISE) that airs each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET through the NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for The Falcons to run for two seasons and $11 million on March 15 2013. This despite being aware that Gonzalez had claimed he planned to retire at the end of 2013 NFL season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 year old) spent last season as an NFL's most prolific receiver.
